We’re thrilled to welcome Brigitte “Gitte” Muehlbauer to the NeuroTechR3 team! Gitte is joining us as an Occupational Therapy Consultant, helping the development team shape meaningful exercises and interactions into our exergames and providing us with valuable insight on tailoring the product design for use by therapists. Gitte is a licensed OT with over 20 years of experience in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric rehabilitation in school-based, community based, outpatient, sub-acute, and hospital settings. Gitte specializes in neurologic, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, ergonomics/work site evaluation, pediatrics, and driver rehabilitation. In 2020, Gitte was the first OT at HMH@JFK that performed telerehabilitation for stroke patients.
