Software Developer
Lorenzo is a software developer that works on R3THA’s supporting software, database, and user interface. Lorenzo graduated from NJIT with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and graduated from New York University (NYU) with a Masters of Science in Computer Science. Lorenzo has worked the past two years as a part-time Research Assistant at Dr. Adamovich’s Neuromotor Behavior and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory at NJIT. Lorenzo’s areas of expertise are within graphics programming, game engine development, graphical user interfaces, Unity3D development, virtual and augmented reality, and developing low-level systems. Lorenzo is also skilled in web development and database development.
Brigitte "Gitte" Muehlbauer
Occupational Therapy Consultant
Gitte is a licensed OT with over 20 years of experience in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric rehabilitation in school-based, community based, outpatient, sub-acute, and hospital settings. Gitte specializes in neurologic, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, ergonomics/work site evaluation, pediatrics, and driver rehabilitation. In 2020, Gitte was the first OT at HMH@JFK that performed telerehabilitation for stroke patients.
